What to Know Before You Rent

• Minimum age : 21 for most cars, 25 for SUVs and 4WDs. Young driver fee may apply under 25years old.

• Driving experience : 1 to 2 years of driving experience required by most suppliers.

• Documents : valid passport and driving licence. International Driver Permit (IDP) may be required depending on your licence country.

• Insurance : mandatory third-party liability insurance (ICBARI) is included in all bookings. Additional coverage options — Standard, Extended, and Full (zero excess) — are available at checkout.

• Deposit : refundable security deposit is required at pickup. Some suppliers accept a cash deposit.

• Minimum rental period : 2 days with most suppliers. Single-day rentals available from select suppliers.

• Mileage : unlimited on most rentals. Any daily or total cap is shown before you book.

• Fuel : full tank provided. Return the car with a full tank to avoid refuelling charges. Petrol stations are widely available in cities; plan fuel stops ahead of time on mountain or remote routes.

• One-way rentals : available between selected cities including Baku and Ganja.

• Territory restrictions: most rentals are valid within Azerbaijan only. Cross-border travel to Georgia or other neighbouring countries is available with select suppliers. Confirm this before booking if you plan to cross the border.
